1st thus, first printing (first illustrated edition). 110pp, with coloured, illustrated double spread extra title page and line drawings in text. Rose cloth-covered boards, silver lettering front and spine. 8vo. Cloth is unevenly faded, gently rubbed at corners and around spine, a little rounded at spine tips. Text block edges toned. Gift inscription, dated 1954, on front free endpaper, endpapers faintly spotted, else internally neat, clean and tight.
