Quarter bound in black cloth under brown cloth-covered boards; gilt design on front, gilt titles on spine, top text block edge sprayed brown. 4to. Lightly rubbed corners, rubbed spine ends; lightly bumped bottom front edges. Fore and bottom top text block edge starting to fox and tan. Bookseller's label on front pastedown; inscription on front free endpaper, volume shaken. Otherwise, internally neat, clean and tight. Dust jacket spine tanning, has 2cm closed tear top front corner, annotation top front, some shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price clipped.
