Contains all issues of The Guardian from 12 March 1713 to 15 June 1713, plus index. 350, [viii] pp, with initial cpas and some page decorations. Fully bound in plain brown calf's leather with gilt lettering on red leather spine label. 12mo. Boards heavily worn, rubbed and scuffed at corners, spine ends and edges, some marks and rubbing on flat panels. Endpapers stained in margins and marked. Front hinge cracked. A hint of toning throughout else internally neat, clean and tight.
