In its original pictorial dust jacket (very lightly soiled, now protected in a mylar wrapper). This book is the product of eight years research of two university tutorial classes; and its main focus is the evolution of the two aligned but very different towns of Knaresborough and Harrogate, and the shift of cultural and political power from one to the other.
