First thus, fourth impression.  286pp, with colour plate frontispiece and 12 further colour plates, and two two-colour maps on double page spreads.  Black buckram cloth-covered boards with gold, red and silver design on upper panel, gilt titles on spine.  All edges peckled blue. Pale blue endpapers.  8vo.  Volume is neat,. clean, bright and tight throughout.  Housed in its original publisher's custom box.  The box is a little shelf worn and gently rubbed on corners, with a mild strip of faint toning on title label.
