A modern reprint of the original1838 publication.ย 516pp, with monochrome illustrations.ย Laminated stiff card covers.ย 4to.ย Some gentle edge wear to card covers else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.
Greenwood (1786-1855) was a leading antiquarian and mapmaker.ย It seems he planned a multi-volume series of geographies of several English counties but in the end the only one he completed concerned Kent. It is a detailed description of the county, and its natural and human geography.ย This modern reprint contains some of the illustrations and maps which appeared in the original edition but sadly are not of great quality.
