Complete in four volumes.  Published between 1994 and 2001, all four volumes as first editions, first printings.  All four volumes are bound in black cloth with gilt titles to spine, with sectioned plate illustrated and maps on endpapers.  Volumes are all neat, clean, bright and tight throughout barring volume two which has a slight crease on the dedication page.  All volumes in their original illustrated, laminated dust wrappers, gently shelf worn and a little bumped on extreme edges; the wrapper on volume four has a mild bump affecting the base of the spine.
