[1947].Β  232pp.Β  Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering front and spine.Β  8vo.Β  Cloth a little worn, some minor yellowing to text block edges and the occasional hint of spotting internally, especially on endpapers.Β  Ownership stamp on the front free endpaper. Leaves 169-172 detached but present and aligned. The International Jew is a four volume set of booklets containing antisemiticΒ  articles and philosophies original published and distributed in the 1920s by the Dearborn Publishing Co - a company owned by the American industrialist Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Co,Β  Although Ford did not author the articles himself, he is said to have strongly influenced their creation and content.Β  The articles were originally serialised in Ford's Dearborn Independent newspaper - an organ of the Ford Motor Company.Β  This abridged collection, subtitled 'The World's Greatest Problem' was prepared for publication by Gerald Smith, an American far right fascist and acquaintance of Fords.Β  It was published in 1947.
