A collection of six vintage hardbacks from the Anne of Green Gables series of children's classics, all dating from the 1948-1953. All six volumes uniformly bound in green cloth with blue lettering on the front and spine. 12mo. Cloth is a little tired and brushed, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Chronicles of Avonlea, Anne of the Island and Anne of Avonlea are markedly sunned over the spine. Internally all volumes are neat, clean, tight and bright; Anne of Green Gables and Chronicles of Avonlea have a little tanning on free endpapers; Anne of Avonlea lacks its front free endpaper and the front panel is a little wobbly.
