First edition, first impression.  xiv, 320pp with a central section of black and white photographic plates. Brown cloth-covered board, gilt titles on spine. 8vo.  Cloth a little pushed in at spine ends.  Previous owner's bookplate on front free endpaper.  The first half of the text block has mildly tanned pages else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original dust jacket, not price clipped, a little shelf worn and rubbed on edges and points.
