60pp illustrated booklet, stapled in printed card covers (covers slightly edge worn and a little faded around spine and edges). Internally neat, clean and tight barring previous owner's name on first page and some neat highlighting of the text inside the back cover. Riddoch was Provost of Dundee from 1787 until his death in 1822, and the city was transformed under his leadership.
