First edition, first impression.  xiv, 218pp.  Black cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on the spine.  8vo.  Cloth very slightly rounded at corners and spine ends.  There's an neat gift inscription inked on the reverse of the half-title page, else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original, lightly shelf worn, dust jacket. The inscription may be in the hand of the author - the handwriting is similar to signed inscriptions we have seen of his, and the volume came from the same source, but the inscription is not signed and there is no way to be sure.
