Gift inscription neatly inked on the front free endpaper.  Hint of shadowing on he endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original laminated, glossy dust wrapper, not price clipped, a little bumped on extreme edges. Birds and Men was the first book on birds published as part of the acclaimed New Naturalist series.   This is a facsimile reprint of the original 1951 edition, part of a series of facsimile reprints of some of the New Naturalist series by Bloomsbury Books in the late 1980s and  1990s.
