First edition, first printing.  One of a signed edition limited to 200 copies, and signed by the author opposite the copyright/limitation page.  104pp, with black and white illustrations throughout.  In glossy, illustrated stiff card covers.  Folio.  A little gentle edge wear to card covers else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. F J Camm (1895-1959)  was a technical author, founding several magazines such as Practical Mechanics, Practical Motorist and Practical Wireless.  Brother of noted aircraft designer Sydney Camm, the two shared an early interest in building model aircraft and F J went on to become technical editor for a number of London publishers.  Through his extensive writings he did much to increase public awareness and understanding of the emerging technologies around them in the early days of motoring, aviation and electronics.
