First edition, first impression.  Signed by the author, Eric Eastwood, on the front free endpaper.  xii, 278pp, plus a central section of monochrome plate illustrations and further illustrations, charts and diagrams in text.  blue cloth binding, with gilt-blocked lettering to spine.  Orange endpapers.  Cloth a little rubbed at spine ends, slightly dull around edges.  Slight shadowing to text block edges.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original glossy dust wrapper, shelf worn, price clipped, rubbed and bumped on extreme edge, with some heavy bumping and chipping at spine ends.
