Published c 1890s (dated from internal evidence). 16pp illustrated, stapled booklet with printed card covers (covers a little soiled and spotted) and delightful engraved illustrations of Montpellier Baths, the Old Sulphur Well, the Town Hall Theatre, The Spa etc. Contemporary flyer for the Town Hall Theatre, Harrogate laid in (it appears to have been laid in so long that it has marked the opposite page). Account and description of Harrogate's mineral waters and baths, detailing their health effects and medicinal properties, attractions for visitors, chemical analyses of the sulphur, chalybeate and iron waters, local walks etc. Some spotting throughout.
