Tissue-guarded colour frontispiece portrait, Gorgeously illuminated title page. Quarter bound in beige cloth over green cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine and red, green and gilt titles and decoration on front; bevelled edges. All edges gilt. Well-rubbed spine ends with cloth wearing through in a couple of places. Covers have general wear. Corners gently rubbed. Gilt text block edges. Endpapers tanned. Previous owner's stamp on front paste down. Gutter strained at title page. Light foxing on title page otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight. .
