There's a gift inscription inked on the front free endpaper, which also has a mild crease else neat. clean, bright and tight.  In its original, slightly shelf worn dust wrapper, slightly bumped on extreme edges and two corner creases on the inner front flap. A smart and presentable copy of what is still considered one of the finest selections of children's verse, edited and with an introduction by English folklorists and childhood experts, Iona and Peter Opie.
