First edition, first impression. xiv, 274pp, plus a central section of monochrome plate illustrations.  Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine.   8vo.  A previous owner's details neatly inked on the front free endpaper else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  In its original, slightly shelf worn, dust wrapper, not price clipped, a little bumped and rubbed on extreme edges.
