In blue cloth-covered boards with red lettering and vignette (boards worn, a little faded on edges and lightly rubbed at spine ends and corners. Endpapers a little tanned, front free endpaper has lengthy inscription. A couple of pages are creased. A collection of short, appreciative biographical notes of some of the notable supporters of the co-operative movement in its early days, including Robert Owen, William Cobbett, Elizabeth Fry, Richard Cobden, Edward Vansittart Neale, George Jacob Holyoake, Charles Kingsley, Thomas Huges, John Ruskin and William Morris. 12mo
