In its original dust jacket (small paper scar, spine slightly sunned and mildly rubbed at edges). 8vo. The Britain in Pictures series is a fascinating insight into British social history of the second world war period. These attractive, slim volumes were produced to be affordable and readable, with the aim of boosting morale and national pride by highlighting elements of national identity which made Britain Great.
