xxiv, 312pp, 41 hand coloured plates including frontispiece (tissue-guarded), plus 16pp publisher's adverts. Blue cloth-covered boards, faded gilt title on spine, gilt design on front. Spine heel missing. Top 1/3 of spine cover detached from rear board and missing towards head. Corners heavily bumped and cloth worn through. Slightly cupped. Both gutters stretched. Water stains around edges of text block, never reaches main text block. Lender's stamp on title page and a handful more throughout volume. Remains perfectly readable and illustrations bright and colourful. 8vo.
