First US edition, first printing. Prelims plus 380pp. Deckled fore edge. Quarter bound in yellow cloth over cream card boards, gilt lettering to spine (boards strong, worn at edges, rubbed at spine tips, slight discolouration at edges). Dusty top text block edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, faint occasional spotting on endpapers only. In its original dust jacket (hint of discolouration on top edge). The dust jacket is now protected in an archival-quality mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
