Previous owner's name on faintly marked front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean and bright. Firmly bound. In its original pictorial dust jacket (lightly bumped at edges, slightly rubbed at head of spine, mildly marked on verso). A lovely exploration of the art of performance ballet, with glorious and inspiration colour illustrations of dancers such as Leslie Petit, Strutschkowa, Maria Tallchief, Margot Fonteyn, Michael Sommers etc.
