In a matt, decorative dust jacket in Mystery Book Guild style (a little shelf wear & sunned to spine). First published by John Long in 1966. Novel featuring Paul Chavasse. Martin Fallon is one of several pen names adopted by Jack Higgins. The Mystery Book Guild republished leading mystery novels at the rate of two a month, building an attractively uniform series of classic crime and thrillers. Its diamond design dust jackets are both sought after and pleasing. A little gem for lovers of vintage fiction. Some of the novels in the series are now hard to find in this or any other edition.
