188pp, with full page drawings and numerous vignettes in text. In card-covered boards (a little rubbed at edges, lightly rounded at corners, heavily faded around spine). Previous owner's inscription on lightly toned endpapers, else internally neat, clean and bight. Firmly bound. In its original, price-clipped dust jacket (a little bumped at edges, heavily faded around spine). Dust jacket now protected in Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Haggard's incisive and charming view of poaching life from both sides of the fence, with unadulterated tales of the not too distant past in hunting and rural life in Norfolk. Large 8vo.
