Not dated but circa 1980. 36pp stapled booklet, with colour and black and white illustrations, in laminated card covers (very slightly scuffed in small areas of edges). Internally neat, clean and bright. The main facts of the history and building of the Church contained in this volume were taken from William Durrant Cooper's The History of Winchelsea (1850) but have been substantially revised and added to, first by Gertrude Leigh, then R A Cochrane, one time Rector of Winchelsea and, for this the 19th edition, by local resident Macolm Saville - the popular and prolific author of children's stories including the Lone Pine series and Portrait of Rye.
