216pp. 1st edition, 5th printing. With 15 illustrations by Cecil Trew, of which 8 are full page. Green cloth covered boards with gilt titles to spine (boards just a little faded on edges and rounded on corners and spine tips. Previous owner's name on endpaper. Minor spotting on text block edge but else neat, clean and bright internally. Dust jacket a tad faded, gently rubbed at edges, closed 1 inch tear at head of spine and flat crease near leading edge. Overall, a nice, strong copy of this now hard to find story.
