5th, revised edition. 200p, with numerous monochrome illustrations, charts, diagrams etc. In blue cloth-covered boards with black lettering and decoration (boards are lightly worn, rubbed on edges and rounded at spine ends and corners). Internally there's a small, mild mark on the front free endpaper and the date Jan 1946 written in pencil, title page gutter strained, and a hint of page toning, else neat and clean. Sets out the principles underlying aeroplane design and their practical application in structural design.
