6pp stapled booklet, printed on stiff card, with pull out moving map and information sheet at end. Charming and graceful colour illustrations of Britain's rare species. A couple of small and mild indentations on front cover, one corner lightly bumped, else neat, clean bright and tight. Listed and illustrated in this booklet are some of Britain's rarest species of animals and plants, together with others like the otter and the red squirrel which may not be rare but have been protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, giving awareness of the large number of species which might easily be lost; includes also some exotic animals that have escaped from parks, zoos and fur farms and established themselves in the wild, such as wallabies and wild Mongolian gerbils. Also covers some species already lost such as the wolf, the brown bear, wild boar, reindeer Fascinating, informative and delightful.
