viii, 152pp, colour plate frontispiece and further plate and vignette illustrations throughout. In pale blue cloth boards, top edge sprayed red (cloth has some mottling, lightly rounded at spine ends). Some minor flecking on text block edges and small paper scar on front free endpaper, endpapers have a hint of toning, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust jacket (bumped along edges, a few short nicks, lightly shelf-worn). Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. 8vo. A good description of English spas & seaside resorts from their origins in the 17th & 18th centuries.
