Dust jackets(s) with a Brodart-style, paper-backed, protective sleeve fitted by previous owner.
51pp, full colour illustrations on every other page. Coloured maps on endpapers. In buff, illustrated boards with blue lettering (boards a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends). Gift inscription, dated 1964, opposite title page else internally neat, clean and tight with fresh, vivid illustrations. In its original dust jacket rubbed at edges, shelf wear, lightly soiled on verso, spotted on reverse. Dust wrapper now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. 12mo. A lovely copy of this little classic Ladybird book from the Adventures from History series (series No. 561).
