[1955] First edition, first printing. 188pp. In emerald green cloth-covered boards (rubbed and faded at edges, sunned spine). Pages tanning, especially at margins, else internally clean and neat. In its original dust wrapper, now worn, chapped at edges, fraying at spine tips. Jane Shaw was a prolific and popular author of children's books in the mid 20th century, perhaps best remembered for her 'Susan' series.
