94pp. Beautifully decorated reddish-pink cloth boards (just a little bruised at spine base). Some minor spotting on endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In dust jacket with matching design (very slightly rubbed on edges). Yellow decoration and motifs on every page. 16 colour plate illustrations. 16mo. The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam is the title given by FitzGerald to his 1859 translation from Persian into English of a series of quatrains attributed to Omar Khayyam (1048-1131), also known as the Astronomer-Poet of Persia.
