In grey cloth covered boards with gilt titles on spine (a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine tips). Text block edges dust marked and lightly spotted. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, edge worn and slightly faded, price-clipped dust jacket. Jacket now protected in a Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Lees-Milnes examines the art, sculpture and paintings of the period, as well as Architecture, of the Renaissance in England, recognising the influence of the influx of Italian artists which came to an end under Elizabeth and the passage of influences through the Low Countries subsequently. 8vo.
