436pp. Blue cloth-covered boards, separate spine in grey cloth; purple titles on front, blue titles on spine.  4to. Lightly bumped spine ends. Compression to spine towards heel. Blue stain at bottom corner of text block edge. Front hinge has been reinforced with linen binders tape. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has closed tears at spine heel, shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage. Looks at the history of Japanese broadcasting on both radio and later television from the first broadcasts in March 1925.
