Slight scuffing and staining to boards; shelf-wear. Significantly cocked. Green sprayed top text block edge, dusty; remaining edges foxing. Maps of Stanley's three journeys in Africa on endpapers. Foxing throughout; intensity varies, worst on prelims. A good example of a quality, textured paper volume which remains neat and bright.
