128pp, black and white frontispiece. Red cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Sun-fading to lower part of spine cover where there is jacket loss, tail end lightly rounded. Text block edges just starting to fox. Free endpapers lightly tanned with previous owners inscription. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket almost torn in two down rear joint, has heavy sun-fading to spine and edges, small tears and chipping to top edge, 4cm loss at spine heel; not price clipped. Aims not to press the claims of either Christianity or secular humanism but to assess the theory of evolution in relation to both.
