First edition, first printing. 156pp. Black cloth-covered boards with gold titles on the spine. 12mo. Very light bumping to the top of spine. Text block edges have some light foxing. Internally there is some slight tanning to the free endpapers and a small bookseller's ticket on the front pastedown, otherwise neat, clean, tight and bright. Dust jacket has slight rubbing to the corners, spine and top of spine.
This book is a serious and moving study of the influence of mind over body, by suggestion and by faith, in which the author describes with great vividness a pilgrimage to Lourdes.
