200pp, monochrome plate frontispiece, with occasional in text black and white diagrams throughout. Red cloth-covered board, with gilt titling on the spine. 8vo. Rubbed and rounded at spine ends and corners. Foxing on top edge of the text block. Slightly slanted. Previous owner initials in ink written on the front free endpaper. Otherwise internally the book is neat, clean and bright. The dust jacket is rubbed and rounded on the top edge, corners, and spine head and tail - resulting in minor loss and tears on the head and left edge of the spine, and creases on the rear top edge.
