First edition. 64pp, colour frontispiece, several black and white illustrations. Blue cloth-covered boards, navy titles on spine, squirrel illustration on front. 12mo. Spine ends rubbed, corners lightly rubbed and rounded. Top board edges rubbed with slight discolouration. Text block edges lightly foxed, prelims lightly foxed. School presentation inscription on front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring the occasional spotting. Dust jacket has heavy shelf wear with loss of paper at spine ends and corners, chipping along edges, mirrors book damage; price has been penned over.
