124pp; 6 Colour plates (including frontispiece), numerous black and white and two-tone illustrations throughout. Quarter-bound in blue cloth under pictorial paper-covered boards; illustrative endpapers. 4to. Lightly bumped spine ends, small wearing of cloth on front spine cover. Moderate wear to board edges, corners rubbed exposing boards, pen writing 'Belongs to SLD ' on front board. Text block edges tanned to varying degrees due to different types of paper used. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Prelims lightly foxed. Internally occasional foxing to pages varies throughout otherwise neat, bright and tight.
