Quarter-bound with orange cloth-covered spine over pictorial paper-covered front board; some black and white illustrations. 4to. Boards worn and rear board lightly soiled. Spine foxed, heaviest towards head, spine ends moderately rubbed with cloth starting to wear through at heel. Heavy shelf wear to edges with corners heavily rubbed and rounded; paper loss. Heavy tanning and foxing on text block edges. Quite cocked. Previous owner's name filled into 'This book belongs to' on front free endpaper. Heavy tanning and foxing throughout, heaviest towards beginning and end of volume. Internally, neat, clean and tight. Collection of children's stories.
