Volume II: 592pp, with numerous illustrations, charts, diagrams etc. text. Both volumes uniformly bound in deep green cloth-covered boards with blind rules and gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Boards for both volumes just a little worn and marked, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Some dust marking on text block edges. Volume II a little sunned on spine and front hinge cracked, resulting in some loosening and small tear in front free endpaper; Volume one a little loose.
