First edition. 360pp. Red cloth-covered boards; black design on front, black titles on spine. 12mo. Lightly rubbed spine ends. Top text block edge dusty, edges starting to tan and fox. Endpapers and early prelims starting to fox and tan. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has three 1cm closed tears, sun-faded spine, light shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage.
Story of a young instructress at the Icedrome who discovers a young child skater with great potential and persuades the manager of a touring ice show to organise a skating scholarship, confident that her young protegee will win it.
