515pp. Indexed. Richly illustrated. Green cloth boards with gilt titles and coloured endpaper papers (very clean and sharp). Previous owner's names and a few minor marks on endpapers. Neat, clean, bright pages and tight, square binding. In an illustrated dust jacket (a little rubbed at extremities and mildly faded around spine). A far from conventional history of prints, Haytt Mayor draws out their impact on literary, societal change and development, science, fashion and religion. Engrossing.
