186pp, with stunning full page woodcut illustrations by J Yunge-Bateman. In red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. Boards are a little rubbed and faded at edges, rounded on corners and spine tips. Previous owner's inscription inked onto front paste down; endpapers lightly spotted, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket, price clipped, rubbed, bumped and lightly chipped at edges, with light shelf wear. A selection of prose and poetry on the theme of travel arranged in eight parts which are intended to be read consequently, each part being linked by themes such as landscapes, departures, adventures, places etc. Includes writers such as Rupert Brooke, E M Forster and John Steinbeck.
