Undated, (circa 1940s). 93pp. Illustrated Title page. Quarter-bound in red cloth under pictorial paper-covered boards; illustrated endpapers; two-tone line drawn illustrations throughout. 4to. Boards covered with self-adhesive plastic; moderate wear to spine ends and corners, rubbing to board edges. Text block edges tanned and lightly foxed. Previous owner's name on front pastedown. Internally pages are lightly tanned at the margins with occasional foxing, otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight. Delightful children's stories told in alphabetical order, followed by puzzle pages, rhymes, riddles, story strips and a pixie poem.
