56pp, with numerous colour and black and white illustrations throughout. In blue cloth-covered boards with gilt block lettering on spine. 8vo. Cloth covers are a little marked and faded over spine. The front free endpaper has some flat creases and a little discolouration, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. An auction catalogue produced by Sotheby's Belgravia for the sale of items from the studio of Herbert Dalziel, the son of Thomas Dalziel and youngest member of the reproductive engravers known as the Dalziel Brothers. As well as featuring many items produced by the Dalziel Brothers, the catalogue is notable for the important essay by Simon Houfe which is included, on the life, works and impact of the Dalziel family on art, illustration and decorative design in the Victorian era.
