In its original worn and edge-rubbed dust jacket (tape reinforcements on interior and at spine ends). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. Author's second mystery novel. Pamela Barrington (1904-1986), pseudonym of Muriel Vere Mant Barling. She wrote also under the name of her husband, Charles Barling. Her series detectives are Inspector George Marshall, Inspector George Travers and Inspector Henderson.
